Kyle has been with Hunter Associates since July 2008. In addition to his role as an investment advisor, Kyle focuses on the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans, and also provides retirement plan counsel to small businesses. Prior to joining Hunter Associates, Kyle was an accountant for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh.
Kyle holds a B.S.B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and has received an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning through Duquesne University’s School of Leadership and Professional Advancement.
Among many other interests, Kyle is active in the lacrosse community as both a player and coach.

Tal joined Hunter Associates at its inception in 1992. Previously, he spent more than 30 years with Mellon Bank, where he served as senior vice president and group executive, responsible for all commercial lending in the eastern half of the United States. He retired from Mellon Bank in 1986 and subsequently joined Parker/Hunter Incorporated as a vice president.
Tal graduated cum laude from Yale University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School.
Tal has served as director or trustee of numerous corporations and charitable organizations, including Education Management Corporation, Scholastic Inc., Shenango Inc., the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Red Cross, Point Park College, United Way of Allegheny County, Wheeling College, and the Winchester-Thurston School.

Barbara joined Hunter Associates in 2005. In addition to her role as an investment advisor, Barbara specializes in retirement, education, and tax and estate planning. Prior to joining Hunter Associates, Barbara was a partner with the international firm of Deloitte & Touche. She also previously worked as a financial consultant to individuals and privately held business owners.
Barbara holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Barbara has served as president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, president of the IUP Alumni Association, and vice president and treasurer of the Foundation for IUP.

Bob joined Hunter Associates in April 2011. Prior to joining Hunter Associates, Bob served clients in the brokerage industry for more than 30 years, most recently as executive vice president and branch manager with the firm Janney Montgomery Scott LLC.
Bob holds a bachelor’s degree from Denison University and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He obtained his Certified Financial Planner™ certification in 1985 and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute®, an executive education program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Bob serves as a director or trustee for several organizations, including the Salem Community Foundation, Pearce Foundation, St. Paul’s School Foundation, Salem Public Library, and the Columbiana County Mental Health Center.

Fred joined Hunter Associates in 1993. In addition to his role as an investment advisor, Fred is a managing director and shareholder of the firm. Prior to joining Hunter Associates, he was an officer at Landmark Savings Association, where he managed a mortgage securities portfolio and worked with the Asset and Liability Committee to guide corporate investment policy.
Fred holds an M.B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky. He has held the Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1993.
Fred is a ruling Elder at Eastminster Presbyterian church and a member of the board of trustees of HOME Ministries. He is an advisory board member, and former chairman of the board, of the Pittsburgh Urban Christian School. Fred has served as a member of the Investment Committee for the East Liberty Family Health Care Center and is an advisory member of the Eastminster Child Care Center.

Reed previously worked as a lender and credit analyst with the corporate banking group at Dollar Bank.

He has completed numerous continuing education programs, including the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending at Bucknell University with Highest Honors. John holds a bachelor’s degree in both mathematics and economics from Denison University and an M.B.A. degree from Virginia Tech. He holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Hunter Associates, Erica was affiliated with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, where she worked in collaboration with firm representatives and clients to develop planning and investment approaches. She also worked with a midwestern brokerage firm, specializing in equity and municipal bond trading.

Bob joined Hunter Associates in 2005 as an investment advisor. Previously, Bob was chief executive officer of Arthurs, Lestrange & Company for 25 years. He entered the securities industry in 1954, beginning his career with the firm Singer, Deane and Scribner. He joined Arthurs, Lestrange & Company in 1960 as Manager of Equity Trading.
Bob holds a B.B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Bob has been active in security industry affairs throughout his career. He served on the Board of the National Securities Traders Association for 10 years and was elected Chairman in 1973. In 1977, he was designated OTC Man of the Year by the OTC Securities Review. He has also been active in the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), having chaired and served on several key committees including the first NASDAQ Committee. He was a Governor of the NASD/NASDR from 1995 through 1997. He also chaired and served on several Securities Industry Association committees and was a Governor of the SIA from 1991 through 1993.
